Founder Sylvia Biro-Price and Shelley Snow are both ethical fair-trade sellers who have been a staple part of the local artisan markets for well over a decade. Both of them travel overseas every year to directly source handcrafted wares primarily from Southeast Asia – Thailand, Nepal, Cambodia, Vietnam, India and Laos.

Their collective aim is to support marginalized artisans living in countries without basic labour laws with an aim to give women and girls an opportunity to earn a fair living wage so they can support their families with dignity and pride. This also allows for ancient techniques of craftsmanship to continue to be passed down to the new generation keeping these traditions alive and thriving in the modern era.
