Each one is made from the bark of the Himalayan Lokta shrub that grows in the Highlands of Nepal. Lokta regenerates after every cutting, thus providing a sustainable source of income for rural people with preserving the fragile mountain ecology. Skilled artisans used traditional paper, making techniques to create the delightful creation, using traditional dye and screen printing techniques. Hang them anywhere, but do not expose to rain.
